About Me
MY NAME IS sammy morris
I was born and bred in California's Mojave Desert into a family that always believed our animals were just as important as the humans in the house. When I wasn't out wandering the surrounding wilderness, I was at home drawing and painting- always inspired by the natural and wild life around me.
Combining a lifetime of artistic exploration, a passion for the natural world and the creatures who inhabit it, and a deep understanding of people and sentimentality, my casual woodburning art practice became a profession. Since 2014, Woodcraft Woman has been taking photographs, ideas, and concepts from clients and turning them to lasting, sustainable, thoughtful woodburned and carved art pieces.
