Peter has done several small and large projects for my old Victorian home on Grove Street. He’s always incredibly professional and accommodating. I know I can trust him to work diligently even when I’m away on vacation.
People have been complimenting my bathroom nonstop since Peter remodeled it three years ago. Everything’s still got that new sheen and the tilework is just awesome.
I’ve been hiring the Sweeneys since I first moved into my house over 70 years ago. They did my kitchen cabinets, fixed my drains, and even rewired the lights in my bedroom into a single switch! There’s nothing the Sweeney’s can’t do.
I had this toilet that always had a problem. Either it was a leak or a plug. It was always giving me a headache. I’d hired other plumbers in the neighborhood, but problems would always come back. Since Peter worked on it last year, it’s been working perfectly. I’m so grateful!

I’ll only work with the best materials available and provide a 1 year guarantee on all labor. I never compromise quality for time and give my clients realistic schedules that accommodate their lives. I strive for honest customer service, so contracts are only paid in full when the finished work is to your complete satisfaction.

About Me

MY NAME IS sammy morris

I was born and bred in California's Mojave Desert into a family that always believed our pets were as important as one another. When I wasn't out wandering the surrounding wilderness, I was at home drawing and painting- always inspired by the natural and wild life around me.

I left Joshua Tree to attend San Francisco State University and receive my B.S. in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration with a focus in Natural Resources and Outdoor Adventure. While in the Bay Area, I continued to create art at every chance and was pulled to ink drawing in particular, specializing in stippling/pointillism. The permanence of ink forced a necessity of adaptation and more organic flow of art which I felt I inherently understood, quickly loved, and would eventually apply to the art of pyrography.

After working seasonally in Alaska and finishing college, I returned to my homebase, the desert. Here, I had space, time, and the most magical tool hidden deep in my closet- a woodburning pen.

Combining a lifetime of artistic exploration, a passion for the natural world and the creatures who inhabit it, and a deep understanding of people and sentimentality, my casual woodburning art practice became a profession. Forming officially in 2014, Woodcraft Woman has been taking photographs, ideas, and concepts from clients and turning them to lasting, sustainable, thoughtful woodburned and carved art pieces.

Thank you for visiting my website and learning a little more about me and my dream job. I hope to create together soon.

XO Sammy
